    A practical example

Take pages 2–4 from a longer report and save just those pages as a new PDF. Your original file on disk stays unchanged.

Use Try sample files above to practise without choosing a personal document.

    Useful tips

    • Use Shift+click to choose a continuous range.
    • Use Ctrl+click on Windows or Cmd+click on Mac to select separate pages.
    • Double-click a thumbnail to check a page at a larger size.

    Limits to know

    • Select at least one page to enable extraction.
    • Extraction moves pages into the workspace’s Deleted Pages area. Restore them there if you need another copy.
    • This tool extracts pages; it does not perform OCR or convert scanned text into editable text.

    Questions

Can I split only a few pages from a large PDF?

Yes. Select the exact pages you need and export them as a separate PDF.

Does splitting a PDF change my original file?

No. PDF Plus creates a new download in your browser and does not overwrite your original file.

How do I use this tool offline?

Choose files, try the sample or open the empty editor while connected. Once it says Editor ready, keep this tab open to continue offline. Download before closing or refreshing; sessions are not saved.
