Privacy Policy

Your documents stay on your device

PDF Plus reads and processes the PDFs and images you choose in your browser. It does not upload their contents or filenames to a document-processing server or to Google Analytics. Downloaded outputs are created locally.

Your editing session

Files, thumbnails and edits are held in the current browser session. We do not provide cloud storage or recovery of documents. Download your result before closing or refreshing the tab, which clears the workspace. Once the editor is loaded, you can keep using that open tab offline.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. If you reject it, it is not loaded by PDF Plus. Every PDF tool remains available either way.

When enabled, analytics measures page visits, file and page counts, tool usage and completed exports. It can use cookies to recognise a browser and collect device information and approximate location. This usage data is processed by Google; it is separate from your documents. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our configuration.

Sample-file activity is recorded separately from exports of your own documents. We do not send document text, images, filenames or PDF output contents to analytics.

Change your choice

Use Analytics settings in any page’s footer to accept or reject analytics. Rejecting it stops future analytics events from PDF Plus and removes Google Analytics cookies that this site can clear. It does not delete information already processed by Google.

Preferences and hosting

We use your browser’s local storage to remember your analytics choice. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies for the current session. Our hosting providers receive ordinary website requests and technical connection information needed to deliver the site. Selecting a document does not send that document to them.
